I had already been living a earth friendly lifestyle, but I thought what else can I do.  So I pretty much became Vegan, signed up for Peta as a volunteer and started really re evaluating just "How green am I really"!!   The easiest thing that I let go of was my really guilty pleasure (junk magazines)....  Now they are not all junk keep in mind, but man oh man do I ever really like the junky ones,, one of my total indulgences other than baths.  I stopped buying the occasional junk magazine as well as did not re new any of my cool magazines such as Mothering, and Better Homes, Gourmet, Organic Gardening, Kiwi, In Style.  Anyways you get the point.  So I got a E-reader and got rid of the waste.  Because lord knows momma can't quit cold turkey, so I download them ;)  But hey baby steps.

The next stop was my kitchen drawers.  I was noticing that although I am not crazy bad, I was using those crazy big freezer bags for everything under the sun.  I  decided with my magazines I must get rid of the baggie use habit.  So here we are all in and can't day I miss either...  I do have some great links to reusable baggies to share just in case ya want to try yourself.  I use these for everything, I would make them myself but I have a 3 year old and a crazy chubby nursing 7-month old.  Make them yourself or buy them regardless this is something that will help the earth.
